Case Study 01 · Logistics · Chiang Mai

Reducing manual data entry in a warehouse team

Challenge

The warehouse team was spending around 90 minutes each morning manually entering stock movement data from paper sheets into a shared spreadsheet. Errors were common and staff found the task demoralising.

Solution

Following a Process Discovery engagement, an AI helper was integrated to read photographed paper forms and produce a structured data file for review before entry. Human review was kept as a mandatory step.

Results

Morning data entry time reduced to around 20 minutes. Error rate on entered data fell substantially. Staff described the change as one of the most welcome they had experienced in two years.
