Our Story

Started in a Chiang Mai workshop, built for the long run

Lanna Labs grew out of a small consulting room on Charoenrat Road in 2022. A group of practitioners who had spent years watching AI projects land badly — deployed too fast, with too little care for the people affected — decided to try a different way.

The name is a quiet nod to the Lanna Kingdom, the northern Thai culture known for careful craft and considered design. We think AI integration deserves the same approach: measured, skilled, and shaped around the materials you are working with — in this case, your team and your existing tools.

Since those early months, we have worked with businesses across Chiang Mai and beyond: logistics coordinators, small manufacturers, hospitality teams, professional services firms. What they share is a wish to work more easily, without losing the judgement and relationships that make their organisations function.
